Thank you for your interest in joining us at Abri.
This is an exciting time as we embark on achieving new goals. This includes building at least 1,000 homes a year over the next decade, which will include a variety of tenures. We plan to invest a further £215 million in our existing homes, ensuring they are sustainable and support our plans to play our part in tackling climate change. As part of our wider commitment to addressing the housing crisis, we are continuing to develop our Homelessness Prevention Strategy, aiming to do our bit to help end homelessness for good.
Why the name Abri?
Abri means ‘shelter’. And that’s exactly what we’re committed to doing. We believe everyone has the right to a safe, warm, and sustainable home, and to be part of a community where everyone has the opportunity to belong, grow and thrive.
With 80,000 customers and 35,000 homes we’re one of the South of England’s largest housing providers. We exist to help create thriving communities that feel empowered to take the lead where they live.
Playing a key role
Our Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) play a key role in helping us to meet, and where possible exceed, what we have set out to do. Together we help change lives for the better.
What are Abri’s priorities?
As Abri, we are all about providing great homes and services, creating communities and improving peoples’ life chances. We will work with you, our customers, our communities and other partners to make this a reality. To find out more you can view our corporate strategy Achieving Together 2020-2025 and take a look at our really short video (it’s fab you should give it a quick watch).
We have seven priorities for the next five years:
- Build more homes
- Invest more in our existing homes
- Aim for 100% customer satisfaction
- Invest more to create thriving communities
- Create a great place to work
- Manage our business to the highest standards
- Play our part in tackling climate change
We believe everyone has the right to a safe, warm and sustainable home, and to be part of a community where they can grow and thrive. We’re not just building homes, but sustainable communities where opportunities are attainable nearby.
To achieve the best for our customers we seek passionate people who are experts in their field. People who understand the important role of social housing and the wider impact of it. Working as one team, we welcome new perspectives, new insights and new voices to help us to do more for the communities we’re here to serve.
We look forward to hearing from you.
